How We Use Cookies - Transparency by Design
Quantum Growth Advisory uses cookies on this website to measure performance, improve your experience, and run targeted B2B campaigns. This page tells you exactly which cookies are active, what they do, and how you can control them at any time — by category, with full granularity. Nothing is deployed without your consent, except what is strictly necessary for the site to function.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device — computer, tablet, or smartphone — when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device across pages and sessions, remember your preferences, and gather information about how you navigate. Cookies can be temporary (session cookies, deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (stored for a defined period). They can be set directly by our website (first-party) or by third-party services we have integrated, such as analytics or advertising platforms.
Legal Framework
Our use of cookies is governed by Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés), which transposes the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) into French law, and by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation 2016/679). We also apply the guidelines and recommendations published by the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) in September 2020.
Under these rules, any cookie that is not strictly necessary for the website to function requires your prior, informed, and specific consent before it can be placed on your device. Consent must be as easy to withdraw as it is to give.
Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to operate correctly and cannot be switched off. They do not require your consent. They are set by HubSpot, our website platform, to manage sessions, detect new visits, and store your consent preferences once you have made them. The main cookies in this category are __hs_cookie_cat_pref (stores your consent choices, 6 months), __hssrc (detects new sessions, session duration), __hssc (tracks activity within a session, 30 minutes), and hubspotutk (identifies returning visitors, 13 months). Your consent management platform will also set a technical cookie to remember your choices for 12 months.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website — which pages are most visited, where users come from, and how they navigate through the site. This data allows us to improve our content and user experience. They are only activated with your consent.
We use Google Analytics 4, which sets the cookies _ga and _ga_XXXXXXXX (both retained for 13 months) to distinguish unique users and maintain session state, _gid (24 hours) to identify users within a given day, and _gat (1 minute) to throttle request frequency. HubSpot also sets __hstc (13 months) to track your journey across multiple sessions. All IP addresses collected through GA4 are anonymised in our configuration. Data retention is set to 14 months in our GA4 Admin settings.
Marketing and Targeting Cookies
These cookies are used to measure the performance of our B2B advertising campaigns and, where applicable, to show relevant content to visitors who have previously interacted with our website. They are only activated with your consent.
The LinkedIn Insight Tag sets several cookies: li_fat_id (30 days) for cross-site B2B ad targeting, li_sugr (90 days) for probabilistic user matching, bcookie (2 years) for browser identification, and lidc (24 hours) for data centre routing. HubSpot sets __ptq.gif (session) to track opens and clicks in marketing emails you have opted into.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to centralise and manage the deployment of all tracking tags on our website. GTM itself does not collect personal data or set cookies directly. It acts as a container that controls when and whether other tags — such as Google Analytics or the LinkedIn Insight Tag — are loaded. Critically, all tags within our GTM container are configured to fire only after you have given consent to the relevant cookie category through our consent banner. GTM is therefore the technical layer that enforces your consent choices in real time.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
When you first visit quantum-growth.io, a cookie consent banner will invite you to make your choices. You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences by category. Your choices are saved for six months, in line with CNIL guidelines, after which we will ask again.
You can review or update your preferences at any time by clicking the Manage Cookie Preferences link in the footer of our website. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it — and will cause all non-essential tags to stop firing immediately.
Browser-Level Controls
In addition to our consent banner, you can control cookies directly through your browser settings. In Google Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data. In Mozilla Firefox, navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data. In Safari, open Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data. In Microsoft Edge, go to Settings > Privacy, search and services > Cookies.
Please be aware that blocking all cookies at browser level may prevent certain features of our website from functioning correctly, including the contact form and analytics dashboards.
Third-Party Opt-Out Options
Beyond our consent banner, each of our third-party providers offers its own opt-out mechanism. You can disable Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the official browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or manage your Google data preferences at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy. To opt out of LinkedIn retargeting, visit linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out. For HubSpot's privacy practices and opt-out options, refer to legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
Changes to This Cookies Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy at any time to reflect changes in our technology stack, the cookies we deploy, or applicable regulatory requirements. The date of the most recent update is always shown at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back periodically, particularly after accepting a new consent prompt.
